About this Eisenhower Matrix PDF
The PDF is a single landscape page with the four quadrants laid out the classic way: urgent on the left, not urgent on the right, important on top and not important below. Each quadrant has its action written in (Do First, Schedule, Delegate, Eliminate) and seven ruled lines for tasks, plus a space for the date. It is a vector file, so it stays sharp at any size, and it prints well in color or black and white.
How to fill in the template
- Write everything down first. List every task on a separate sheet before you start sorting.
- Ask two questions per task. Is it urgent (needs attention in the next day or two)? Is it important (would skipping it still matter in a month)?
- Place it. Urgent and important goes top left. Important but not urgent goes top right. Urgent but not important goes bottom left. Neither goes bottom right.
- Act on it. Do the top-left tasks today, give top-right tasks a time in your calendar, hand off bottom-left tasks, and cross out bottom-right ones.

Yes. There is no signup and no email required. Print as many copies as you like.
Should I use paper or the online matrix?
Paper is great for a daily plan you can see on your desk. The online matrix is better for moving tasks around, due dates, undo and keeping a list over time. Many people use both.
